Miss Dica is Barbara Tampiér, an Austrian producer and dj resident in Berlin. This is her first solo ep (she has released an ep as Synth Model with Vito Caliente). All tracks are co-written and co-produced with Ronald Christoph. On her Myspace page, she describes her music as Electro/Techno/Thrash, and this neatly describes what this ep is. Some may wonder why Third Ear Recordings are releasing a record like this. But this record is a good example of the Third Ear Recordings ethos in action... ‘If we’re feeling it, we want to release it’. All the tracks are great party tracks that will appeal to party people. In addition, and this is what caught our ears, they are well crafted and musically adventurous. We like to party and we like to have our neurons sonically tweaked. This record does both.
