Gospel Artists Wendell & Tina “Singing for God's Glory to the Nations” Wendell and Albertina (Tina) Green are a blessed couple of God; they together have a dynamic song ministry that has blessed many individuals throughout the region extending to the nation. Both have a very committed life to Christ and have been singing many years for the Glory of God! Wendell Green Jr., DD grew up in St. Louis, MO, where he began singing at an early age in the church choir. In high school he the lead singer of a musical group which performed with major artists. After high school, he was part of the Performing Arts choir at St. Louis Forest Park Community College, where he minored in Music Theory and Voice. Wendell continued singing as an adult in San Diego, CA. While traveling the world in the U.S. Navy, he was a soloist for special church events, and had the opportunity to perform for weddings, gospel concerts and many other events.... Tina also started singing in church at an early age where she grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL. As an adult, Tina relocated to Minneapolis, MN and then to Orlando, FL; where she continued singing as a soloist for special church events. Tina also had the opportunity to sing for weddings and perform with groups and show bands for numerous parties and conventions at the Disney resorts, convention centers, and hotel ballrooms throughout the Orlando area. Wendell and Tina have been singing together since 2005 and are members of the Missouri Gospel Announcers Guild, and the Midwest Greater Arts Group. Wendell & Tina had the opportunity to perform at the 2008 Gospel Heritage Foundation’s New Artist Showcase, hosted by Byron Cage; and they were part of the American Heart Association’s ‘Power to End Stroke’ Tour, which was hosted by Dr. Bobby Jones and also included Shekinah Glory, Rev. Milton Bronson’s Thompson Community Choir, and Ronnie Diamond.
