She is set to launch her new catalogue of songs which include the much talked about ‘Quiet Man’ & ‘Angel’. Maria impressed her fans last year with her unique style of Eva Cassidy favorites showcasing her award winning vocals and highly skilled musicianship on guitar and mandolin, with an equally impressive performance on piano. Maria has been working with Bill for the last few months in the studio, shaping her songs to launch her unique blend of Celtic (American) Country style. Bill is most known for his works with Mary Black, Maura O’ Connell, Van Morrison, Cara Dillon, Paul Brady. Maria has teamed up with some high profile Irish & US musicians for her upcoming show to bring home her style of which she became well known for in America, where the media deemed her the Irish Alison Krauss & Joni Mitchell. Maria is something to hear and see as a female solo artist and musician and one can only imagine what she will surprise us with a band behind her. This year Maria was the first Irish female artist to be featured in the ACOUSTIC GUITAR MAGAZINE in a glittering add for the worldwide Ghs Mandolin String company whom she is endorsed by sporting her new Mandolin from Breedlove.
