A five track EP with features from the Chicago based group Fang Tshida, as well as Northwest up-and-comers. The album is a salute to the duo's Northwest roots, themed with radio clips from the Portland TrailBlazers championship victory in 1977. As an emcee in three other projects including FangTshida, L.A. Exchange and Actual Rhinoceros, this is the first solo release from the Chicago based artist N.VS. With a backdrop by provided by Calvin Valentine and solid features 'Trophy Cases' is a fresh departure in 2011. Calvin Valentine's production-catalogue includes joints for TxE, Illmaculate, Planet Asia and countless others. The Trophy Cases EP is yet another SLAP from the Northwest beatmaker. With the Fang Tshida LP to be released in the near future, 'Trophy Cases' is the first glimpse into the new phenomenon known as FANG TSHIDA
