While Kari and Billy have both experienced personal success in their music careers, they have decided to take the stage as a duo and have begun to weave their personal, unique talents together to create something truly special. Coming from opposite ends of the country, with very different backgrounds, the two met in Nashville and were drawn together not only by their similar taste and love for music but also their views on life. Their true love for music shines through and warms the hearts of listeners wherever they go. The couple formed as a duo in 2011 and since then have released two singles, "Play Me A Fiddle Song" and "Are You Ready for the Weekend", to radio. Both songs broke the Country Top 100 and were featured in Music Row’s Country Breakout Chart! They have opened for several national touring acts including Florida Georgia Line, Chris Young, Kelli Pickler, Montgomery Gentry, Pat Green, Rodney Atkins, Brett Eldredge, Scotty McCreery, Collin Raye, Diamond Rio and Kentucky Headhunters at some of the biggest fairs and festivals in the country! Most recently, Billy wrote and the duo recorded and produced all of the original music including the theme song, for the nationally acclaimed and award winning TV series "Thirteen" with Drury Outdoors. All outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy Kari & Billy and their music featured weekly on the Outdoor Channel in their second season with "Thirteen". Whether performing on a big stage or simply playing to friends and family around a campfire, Kari and Billy are seeking to bring back the simplicity and wholesome feel of great melodies and relatable lyrics.
