Space Between Stuff was initially conceived as an EP for a pending release, So Can You. It is comprised of b-sides from that album and songs that were created in waiting for other projects to be completed. Though it defies conventional pop, this album is emphasized by lyricism and basic forms, more so than previous releases. Much of the content is centered around experiences in Chicago during the winter of 2015. The album features performances by Brandon Studer, Jed Lingat, Radhika Bhatt, Perry Cowdery, Ryan Selove, Mike Walker, and my father Rod Mast who also photographed the cover which was designed in collaboration with Zachary Klaus.
