Enajyram Lives! is the newest album from upstate New york MC's Def One and IQ, don't sleep on their high energy brand of lyrical hip hop. Enajyram Lives! is a hip hop album from upstate New York MC's Def One and IQ, and is a follow-up to their self-titled EP. On this outing the pair bring their dextrous lyricism to a new peak, on production provided solely by Def One. After a soft release on 04/20/14 went incredibly well, Enajyram knew they had something special on their hands. The next thing to do was to release it worldwide. Written and recorded between Sept. 2013 and March 2014 at Springhouse Recordings in Oswego, New York. Def One and IQ display impeccable chemistry and mastery of a bevy of hip hop styles. The 12 songs were chosen from whittling down a catalogue of 50 produced by Def One in a two month creative period. IQ, after having gigged extensively and recording the "One Broadcast" EP with Sammy Award-winning reggae hip hop act House on a Spring, then releasing his debut solo album "The Fool," picked right back up with Def One where they had left off. The two of them approached Josh Russell, House on a Spring keyboardist and studio maestro who had previously provided production for "The Fool" and is 1/2 of the production duo The Nummskulls, about recording, mixing and mastering the record for them. After a couple of weekends of recording, you now have Enajyram Lives!, which is, without a doubt, the MC duo's most ambitious work to date. Deciphering the record in a pair of headphones is just as rewarding as bumping it on a car ride, over and over and over again.
