The Dead Storm have spent the last 2 years finalising exquisite well-produced songs which all convey a sense of exhilaration and energy. Their vast catalogue of songs, all composed by award-winning song-writer Zac Nelson, are destined to become classics. Simeon, the lead singer, has the kind of voice which instantly connects with the listener and together with their rich instrumental arrangements The Dead Storm has honed a signature sound which is instantly palatable but still nuanced and surprising.

Recently, The Dead Storm engaged Dorian West as producer for 3 of their songs, and recorded vocals at Dorian's studio in Brighton. Dorian is the current Musical Director for the X-Factor Australia (a position he has held for many years) and was also the Musical Director for years on Australia's Got Talent and other similar TV programs over the last decade. As a producer he has been at the helm for platinum releases by artists such as Dami Im, Cam Henderson, Reese Mastin, and Samantha Jade. Dorian is an enthusiastic advocate for The Dead Storm and sees his tireless efforts in working on these tracks as a labour of love; he will readily attest to the professionalism and musical knowledge the band possesses.
