A masterful storyteller, Jordan writes songs about life and love with pathos and humour in a Folk-Country style. Whether drawing on his own life experience with humour in songs such as, “GST,” “Mountain Fry Lullaby,” and “Winein’,” or his heavier songs of love and loss and the human condition, such as “Didn’t Back Then,” Runaway Lane,” and “Young Wanda,” Jordan moves the audience from laughter to tears and back again. Jordan’s has assembled a fantastic group on musicians for 'The Pitch' consisting of Mike LeLievre (of Slowcoaster), Glen Bourgeois, Jordan Bruleigh and Cape Breton picker PJ Confiant on guitar. The album also features Cape Bretons finest Colin Grant on Fiddle, Joe Waye on Pedal steel and Ben Furry on Mandolin. The album was mixed and mastered by the award winning Jamie Foulds at Soundpark Studios in Sydney, Cape Breton. His old school unique brand of Folk-Country has been compared to the likes of Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty, Hank Williams and John Prine.
