Incorporating psychological theory behind his lyrics of love, life, loss, dreams, fears & happiness, ClubKid mixes this with electronic synths of pop to what is known to him as "Psycho-pop". He writes, produces, & composes all of his tracks from scratch. His debut album 'Psychoanalysis' is all about this. ClubKid states, "This album is all about under going a personal therapy through the great melodies and synthetics of pop music. It's very personal to me. What I have written in these songs has happened to me or to people I know, in one-way or another. It has its light moments and its dark moments, just like our human emotions'. You can hear that famous psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud has been the biggest influence on him, especially through the sexual tension of 'Hostage', and exploring our unconscious mind about dreams and nightmares in 'Rabbit Hole'. He uses the Ψ (the psi which is the symbol for psychology) to represent himself and his artistry. The name ClubKid came from the idea that his music was made for the clubs and that he will always feel like a kid at heart. The child-hood fantasy of being on stage and performing has become a reality for him. After receiving his bachelor degree in Social Science, majoring in Psychology, he felt that he could not leave his music career alone. In saying that, he also could not live without psychology. So instead of doing further study at university, he focused on his music career, however, also incorporating psychology into his craft.
