Phil is a musician and performer who hails originally from Lancashire, England who and now lives in self-imposed exile in the beautiful Coromandel in New Zealand. A singer, guitarist and songwriter he infuses traditional and contemporary English folk-roots songs with folk, blues, jazz, ragtime, The Beatles and other musical influences to create musical potpourris such as "Don't Blame Me". Phil has performed at folk and acoustic venues, concerts and music festivals through the UK and New Zealand - from Lairg at the very tip of Scotland, to Nelson at the top of New Zealand's South Island, and all points in between.

His albums, like his live performances, are grounded in his own Northern English cultural roots but his unique arrangements, stylish vocals and finger-style guitar work ensure that his music appeals to almost any audience.
