The 12 Yats of Christmas album, a double CD started as a four song cassette Nov.1, 1990, when "12 Yats of Christmas" was an instant local radio success - It became an instant local TV success (CBS affiliate WWL TV Ch-4) a coupla' years later, when it became a full CD. A song or two has been added almost every year since. As of 2015, there are twenty seven songs. Still lots of local and some national air play, and the CD's have either traveled or been shipped to literally almost every country on earth, where someone loves our quirky little city, New Orleans. We laugh with ourselves. We don't talk "Southern". We eat strange seafood. We drink strange concoctions. We have different kinds of music. We have as much (sometimes more) water than land. And all o'yall's guess what... We kinda' really like it jus' like dat' - fa'true. Looka' the song titles. Benny Grunch
