The Sierreno group Omar y sus Amanecidos de La Sierra was created by Omar Almazan who gathered with his old friends, all of them raised in Los Angeles California with Mexican roots . Omar Almazan created a different and innovative sierreno style. The three members started working in the music industry at a young age, they worked with well known artist like Alfonso Rios most known for “El Komander” Efrain Elizalde, Los Twins enterprise and much more.

Omar y sus Amanecidos de La Sierra was the name chosen by Omar due to the long hours of non-sleep. In 2013 Los Amanecidos de La Sierra released its first album “Somos Amanecidos” which helped them to be known locally and nationally. They have performed at important Hispanic media such as Univision Fresno and local radio stations. They have also performed at well know night clubs in Los Angeles California. Omar Almazan is the singer songwriter and accordion player. He is recently releasing his second album “Mi Sueño” 2015 in the month of August.
