The Befores combine the smooth, sultry vocals of Zareen and the rich arrangements and beats of Humbert. Zareen and Humbert have been performing and writing songs together for the past 5 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. They have developed a unique sound with influences from electronic and trip hop bands including Massive Attack, Tricky and Zero 7. Their songs also have pop, jazz and world music influences reminiscent of artists like Feist and Sade.
