Bennett delivers a recording full of sophisticated lyrics and dreamy, textural, slightly psychedelic and moody pop. As in the past, a wry since of humor and a touch of self loathing is mixed with melodies that tend toward the melancholic and atmospheric. "Sweet and Twisted" is Craig's third CD release. Once again it is being released on the painfully tiny independent recording label BlackCottage. Other Craig Bennett releases include "More City Sadness" and "Happy Hollowdays." Craig makes his home in Atlanta,Georgia. He is also a painter and filmmaker. an attempted Bio: I was born September 20th in Macon, Georgia. I was given the name Craig Lee Bennett- which I still use to this day. At 17 I moved to Athens to study art at the University of Georgia. I played in bands, bought records, sometimes went to class. Made some friends, lost some friends. Finished school. Moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Painted paintings; sang songs; filmed films. Released my first "solo" record "More City Sadness" in 1999 and followed that up with "Happy Hollowdays" in 2000.I Took time off to paint.Released my newest CD "Sweet and Twisted" February 2002. New album out Summer 2003 entitled "Faster Forward."
