This album is the result of our desire to create meaningful songs for kids. Music that is enjoyed by children as well as parents! Behind the songs: #1"God's might" is a song with a techno beat that has lyrics that are influenced from living in Hawaii and seeing God's beauty all around. Also as surfers we have felt the power of God's might in the ocean, watching sunrises and sunsets. #2 "B-i-b-l-e" is a Ukulele driven song with percussion that has a very earthy sound. It was birthed one morning after John was reading the bible to his boys 1 and 3 at the time. #3 "Solid Rock" is a reggae song that is very simple lyricly for kids to sing along to. It has a lot of instrumental parts to dance to and have fun with. #4"Jesus is da best" is a song that has the sound of hawaii with Jesus. It's a real raw ukulele and percussion feel. It's got the shaker that was made from the kukui nut in Hawaii. #5 "Land with no end" starts off with the ukulele strong and then goes in a hip hop feel with keyboard and drums. This is talking about heaven and how we need to live for it now! a very catchy chorus that makes it easy to sing along to and gets the kids moving. Turn it up because the bass is pumpin! #6 "O happy day" is an old song that we recreated and gave it a fun modern Jack Johnson feel. This was a fun song because we included all the kids from our church. #7 "Forgive" is a reggae vibe that has a lot of fun sounds. It is a simple message and easy to follow. #8 "You created me" This is the title song and it's a song that starts off techno and goes into a full rock out sound that will get you and the kids dancing around and maybe a few heads banging. Have fun! #9 "Revelation" is another reggae song that is catchy and easy to sing about the basic truth of Jesus. That he came and he died and he rose! In the middle has a old song done back in the 80's but with a modern feel.Then there is an old swing part at the end just to be fun. #10 "Set chu free" is a song with a reggae/techno feel. You wouldn't think those two go together but they do work. It has a lot of fun sounds. This is one of the most reflective songs on the album that talks about Jesus setting us free.
