Cosmic Love Agents is a studio band that creates its own original music with a distinct style. It incorporates mostly House, R&B, lounge, funk, and jazz elements, but is not alien to all other styles of music. Our music is pleasing to the ear, stimulating to the nervous system, as well as spiritually and intellectually provocative. This approach of ours generally leaves nothing untouched in music that suits our creative whims. Therefore, we like to refer to our music as a form of fusion, and that not only musically, but in all kinds of ways conceivable. Our distinctive sound lives from the expressive vocals of all members of CLA, two males and one female on SAFARI TO THE HEART OF SOUL. In the vocal section it needs to be said that we are most proud of our wonderful front lady Anne Bandel who undoubtedly embodies our musical and creative anima in a way that is touchingly jazzy, expressive and unmistakable. Koro's characteristic funky guitars, sound paintings and sex-laden vocals form a perfect fusion with the keyboard work and harmonic wizardry of Jimi Griffin who most of the time is also responsible for the melodic but groovy bass lines. The same way Koro paints the sounds, Jimi paints the vocals for CLA, as a concept and as tangible reality. The rhythms are danceable and designed to get under your skin. Should it be slow or fast, your nervous system will show effect. Here we are dedicated to the same philosophy of fusing together whatever creates impact. Nothing will be left untouched, provided it fits the mood of the song. CLA`s lyrics are sincere but playfully relaxed. Commonplaces will not be found within the realm of words we resort to, unless they are true by nature rather than convention. Here we make no compromises: there will be no CLA song containing lines like Ì will love you forever`, or `you belong to me`. You can count on us not to find descriptions of ecstatic states to be the expression of emotional confusion and undue possessiveness, which we see as counter to human individuality. Is there a problem with not lying? Nonetheless, deep feelings and passion can be expressed authentically and in ways that leave room for what evades description. Our lyrics and music are poetry in motion. This notion we are deeply dedicated to. There are enough examples to prove that intelligent pop music can be very successful !
