Risa T started music when she learned to play the piano at age 3 in Tokyo, Japan. She was classically trained for years and naturally learned to play by ear. Feeling an urge to dive deeper into music, she learned other instruments such as the flute and the Koto (Japanese harp). Risa T discovered Logic Pro and started producing electronic music in high school. Music production was always her biggest passion throughout her teenage years and into her early 20s. In 2017, Risa T moved to London to attend Point Blank Music School where she strived to improve her production skills and networked with many musicians. Her experiences in London solidified her full commitment to music and marked the start of developing her own sounds. After receiving a diploma in Music Production & Sound Engineering, she moved to LA to pursue her music career further.
