Born in the hills of East Tennessee. "You can take me out of the country but you can't take the country out of me". Wrote my first song when I was 14yrs old "Wall Around My Heart". followed by "Gods Country Tennessee". I Did A radio show with Big Jim Hess on WKGN. "Al Huskey & the East Tennesseans". Also did some on WGAP in Maryville, TN & WLAR Athens, TN. I did shows with "Preston" the magician and several talented East Tennessee musicians. Smoky White, Al Morelock, Harvey Reynolds, Jimmy Helton, Jimmy Johnson & many more. I am #2 in A family of eleven, 9 boys & 2 girls. I am Blessed with over one hundred niece's & nephew's. I did shows in East Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia,& South Carolina for several years and then moved to Chicago. I worked in several night clubs in Chi-town, Crest Lounge, Silver Dome, Sylvia's, Ringside Ranch, Tennessee Corral, Tex Carters, Swingtown & many More.
