This collection of instrumental music is Martin's most guitar-based album in several years. The album opens with a new version of a song Martin first created when he was 18, "Buddha's Breath," featuring his unique guitar tuning for an uplifting, open-chord sound. Inspired by the birth of his son, Jaden, the next song of "Welcome to Your Life" greets the listener with a powerful and catchy tune. Interspersed throughout the album are some bubbling reggae tracks, "The Brightest Days Still to Come," "Rogue Spring," "Higher Ground," and "In the Mood." The album also features a number of more folk-pop/indie rock tunes such as "A 420 Kind of Day," "Hearts Open Wide," "April Moon," and "Cajun Spice." Harkening back to his alternative roots, the album also has a slightly darker and atmospheric edge with "Mercurial Lights," "Eclipse," and "Beneath the Starry Skies." It all wraps up with the inspiring chant piece, "Never-Ending Earth Chant." Instruments on this album include guitar, mandolin, harmonica, Native American flute, percussion, and rich electronic keyboards, beats, and instrumentation.
