With a career built off performing at varied places such as: protests, coffee shops, bars, universities, rave's, poetry slams, and even street corners, his wide ranging lyricism poignantly, intelligently, and humorously covers eco warrior anthems, personal tales from the school of hard knocks, meditations on Buddhist Philosophy, as well as Aliens, sasquatch, and those stories we tell to humble and heal ourselves. A Johnny Appleseed of ideas.” An activist since college, Plaedo co-founded the U of I social justice club. In 2012, Plaedo was an intense participant in the Occupy movement. And since then Plaedo was a co-founder of the Eugene Avant Gardeners, an organization focused on permaculture, food justice, and cultivating a resilient local food and garden resource distribution network.
