Robert Elliott began his music career at the age of six. Countless concerts playing classical piano and many awards later set the stage for a highly successful career in the pop music field. Having been a traveling musician performing from Quebec City to Miami and points in between prompted a move to Los Angeles and later to Palm Springs. He has played for such notables as the cast of Happy Days on their Paramount set, members of the Country Music Awards, champion players of the NBA, Frank Sinatra, Richard Pryor, Arnold Palmer, Dave Brubeck, Vic Damone and Diahann Carroll, Phyllis Diller, and the list could go on and on. Robert has always been a songwriter but became serious when he discovered the approach to writing from Vince Gill, the "sing it with a cry in your voice" vocals from Neil Diamond, and the smoothness of Michael Buble. Robert's approach to songwriting is that he writes the music instrumentally first because "the music must stand on it's own" then writes the lyrics to fit the music, and what's even more amazing is that every instrument, and most of the drums, were played by Robert on a keyboard to a sampler then were mixed and mastered by Robert. Lucy Diamond is not a hypothetical album because it depicts real life experiences and real people. Lucy Diamond is Robert's first release and is a hint of what's on the horizon. With it's timeless easy listening format, Lucy Diamond can be enjoyed for many years to come.
