Ben Braden was born in the Midwest to loving parents and had a happy childhood there but dropped out of school to become a song and dance man on the west coast when he was 17. Writing songs about traveling and loss and love and love making, he has no plans to quit "as long as people have ears" he says. His songs are known for mysterious lyrics, that are poetic and clear at the same time. His music is also know for having as many hooks as a bait shop. His debut set of recordings, "Leaves Of Trash", was recorded completely on an iPhone 4S and has an authentic lo-fi psych sound to it. Having lived all over the west coast, Ben Braden currently resides in Portland. He's a decent person and his music is worth a few listens.
