Project 7 is the vision of guitarist/composer Dan Begelman. Driven by a passion to play music that moves him both spiritually and emotionally, Dan forged his own creative environment to bring his music to the forefront and discover his inner voice. Supported by drummer Tony Gallino and bassist John DeCesare, Dan and Project 7 continue to explore the boundaries of instrumental guitar music with their third CD, "Paradigm Shift", following both "Lost For Words" and "Birth/Death/Infinity". The music is progressive, innovative, powerful, dark, and cerebral. Comparisons to both Jeff Beck and Mahavishnu Orchestra w/John McLaughlin place the band in good company, but they definitely have their own spin on progressive instrumental guitar music.
