Currently residing in Chiba Japan, Eugene Lubin & Tim Bower are running a musical collaboration that combines jazz with world music. Heavily influenced by nature and the surroundings of their respective home countries and the place in which they now live, a variety of soundscapes and melodically based work make up the repertoire. Tim Bower Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Tim has played music from the age of four. Started playing the alto saxophone from the age of 13 and has been interested in playing jazz and making new melodies ever since. Studied music in his hometown before moving to Japan. He is now playing actively as a jazz musician as well as writing for Fondacion.Eugene Lubin Eugene Lubin, born in Saint Lucia, fell deep into creating sounds at an early age. Having played across the Caribbean, New York, Toronto and the U.K. now living in Japan he has taken on an interest in a new paradigm for musical experience. His obsession with world music and metaphysics beckons the birth of a fresh genre of sound communication for enjoyment.
