Being from the east coast of course I looked up to rappers like Jay-z, Cam’ron, Jadakiss. However I also listened to a lot of Southern and West coast Hip-Hip with guys such as Too-short, Lil john, and Snoop Dogg. I also have been very blessed to live in Oakland, N.Y.C., Philadelphia, Cleveland and Atlanta and I have always worked with artist from those areas. My goal is make music that everyone can identify with. I love beats with heavy hitting base, however I can’t escape my old ways of the cypher where everyone spitting had to say something to capture the audience and amaze.

I think that an artist is someone that can connect with an audience, and entertain. I love to study music and different rappers, from the way they sound, delivery, and the beats they choose because there is always something that can be learned, or something that was tried that could be perfected. I wanna paint a portrait not sell you a dream, only me …M.I.S.T.A.
