I recorded this album with producer Rick Kilburn in 1990. It's by far the most "produced" of the recordings I've made. My goal at that time was to record my folky songs in a way that could garner some attention on radio. Some came close but generally, it's just me and my songs. It was fun to record after having done a couple of very low-budget projects prior to this.

My favourites on here are "Out of Step," "Cumberland Coal" (about a mining disaster that happened in Cumberland, British Columbia in 1901) and "Though Time Goes On."
