Solo piano works from Iceland, written by Ingvi Thor Kormaksson, performed by pianist Agnar Már Magnússon. Ingvi Thor has written music for JJ Soul Band and Latin Faculty (distributed by CD Baby) and many others. Agnar Mar has also written music for solo piano, piano trios and the hammond trio, B3. Agnar Mar has been working as a musician since he was 17 years old. He has played concerts in Iceland and internationally. He was the pianist of the Reykjavik Big band for many years. Currently Agnar Mar is active as a jazz pianist and a teacher in Reykjavik. On this album there are poetic musings, jazz, both stride, swing and lounge; dinner music, maybe, romantic ballads, etc.
