Heres a review of J Bux Last Mixtape That Featured Prodigy of Mobb Deep,Chryme Fam, & Blitz. New Jersey’s J-Bux returns with some hot material and full of storytelling rhymes that keeps the listener ears glued to the music. He spits the storytelling imagery on many of his projects. He has worked with many artists especially QB artists. The name is not new to the game which J-Bux put in work all the time. Now with the label scrape the plate as the machine, J-Bux puts out a 25 track banger “Coke Stories part 2”. Just as you can tell, J-Bux knows how to flip the rhyme delivery on the dark and murky beats. He knows how to pick the beats that fits his rhyme flow. Joints like “Black Roads”, “Mafia Don” and “Let Me Work” brings the listener to J-Bux’s world of vivid storytelling imagery of the streets. It brings the cinematic feel just like the Morphene Beats produced track “Blood Wall”. The raspy voice of J-Bux entertains the listener with the lyrics flow smoothly over the hard beats. The chorus to the highly influenced “Bout It” points the hard street delivery of getting that money: get money, get low, stack money, get hoes, true ice, stacks froze, I’m about this money baby with the hard beat pattern laced perfectly. “Bombs Out” brings the production to another level with the addictive synths riding with a heavy bass drum pattern that fits J-Bux to spit the fire that he usually does. The guest appearances fit the bill and the skits balances well. A great collaboration with QB’s Prodigy and Boston’s Termanology on the hard hitting “Killerseason” with the assisted DJ scratches to bring that heavy 90’s street feel to it. This album fits right in the lane of the storytelling rhymes that are full of vivid imagery and hard beats to go with it. J-Bux keeps the listener on their toes with one story rhyme after another. Pretty much of the album based on the theme: getting money, stack cheddar, getting hoes. This is a hot project to bump into in the crib and on the rides. J-Bux brings out another masterpiece of the coke stories. This album brings out more of J-Bux as he is slowly becoming one of Jersey’s influential emcees to check for.
