In the early 1990's Jeff Christiansen, Lonnie Johnson, Chuck Fulcher, and Jim Brummett came together to create Pollo Loco. They fused together a mix of classic country and a new blue-grass feel. Having known each other for years, the men had an instant connection and were able to climb the musical tower. Playing for free at first and putting any money they did have into more promotion, Pollo Loco worked for years to be able to have the reputation they have in the treasure state. They are light-hearted, fun, and most importantly: genuine. These men love what they do, and it shows in their music.
