Crystal Clayton is a young woman from the midwest with a big dream. She began her love for music and signing as a little girl with a big voice. Over the years she has worked hard to develop her performance, as well as her songwriting skills and artistry. Crystal teamed up with producer Spencer Hoad to create 'Blinding Lights'; a five song EP that has flavors of electronic 80's pop music mixed with current hip hop and R&B. Spencer did a wonderful job tapping into their shared love of different sounding beats and unexpected sounds, giving the listener something interesting to listen to. Crystal likes to describe her songwriting as 'pop music with depth'. She takes pride in her ability to write pop music that is relatable and real. Although the EP 'Blinding Lights' is one unit, all of the songs have their own unique qualities that makes one not quite like the other. 'Head First' is soulful R&B with a heavy bass; 'Blinding Lights' is an electro pop anthem'; 'Too Human' had the help of King Rudy to make this relatable jam a hit.
