JKT Entertainment - Kalamazoo, MI JKT Entertainment was formed in Kalamazoo Michigan in 2012. This entertainment company was founded to promote and fund the rap group Just Kash Talk aka JKT. Although based in Kalamazoo its pathway to success runs through Detroit, the Rap and R&B Mecca of Michigan. Their artists have been encouraged to create & pursue all forms of music and subject matter which at times can be explicit. Their artists have performed in many local clubs and venues in the state of Michigan. Its featured group, JKT, has opened for major artist such as Rick Ross at the Pontiac Silver Dome in Detroit Michigan and the recently signed CTE world group known as “Doughboys Cashout” in Benton Harbor Michigan. In 2012 JKT opened for artist “Cashout” at Miller Auditorium in Kalamazoo Michigan. Jeremy started rapping shortly after graduating from Kalamazoo Central High School. Jeremy linked up with a family member Kyree Matthews aka JKT “Mr. Reedables” where they formed the group Just Kash Talk. Jeremy chose the stage name JKT Jerm and became well known in the Kalamazoo rap scene. He incorporated his life experiences into his own style of rap. JKT’s collaborated to make a street hit that took the rap scene by surprise, with the trending topic of ‘Buff’s, referring to Cartier glasses. JKT hooked up with HBK “Heartbreak Kid of Doughboyz Cashout and Dusty McFly featuring Chandra Davis aka “Deelishis” (actress, singer, and VH1 reality TV star) for the smash hit ‘Buffs Glaring on youtube now. Shortly after “Buffs’ Glaring” debut, Jkt went on to open for the popular rapper Rick Ross and Cashout. JKT has been featured on www.Mlive.com as one of the first rap groups from the area to open for a major star. JKT Jerm then moved forward to feature their debut album “Green magic”. He continues to work in the studio creating his own unique style of rap. He is currently working on his mix tape ‘The lost bible’, expected to drop summer of 2014. Ree Kyree Matthews aka JKT “Mr. Reedables Kyree Matthews was born on April 24, 1989 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Kyree attended and graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 2007. After high school, Kyree enrolled and attended KVCC, but soon found that his true passion was rap music. He studied and perfected his skill from his close friend Trayvon, aka Nook. After learning and working with Nook, Kyree connected with his cousin Jeremy Robinson, aka Jkt Jerm were they decided to form their own unique style of rap and called their group Just Kash Talk, JKT. Kyree decided that his stage name would be, Mr. Reedables. He knew that if they worked hard at what they did that, they would become a successful rap group. He chose to incorporate his own personal life experiences to come up with his smooth lyrics. In summer of 2012, JKT make the front page of MLive.com when they opened up for Rick Ross at the Silver Dome in Detroit, Michigan. They were the first group from Kalamazoo MI to open for a worldwide rap artist. In July of 2013, he performed at Kalamazoo's first Summer Jam. Mr. Reedables plans, on dropping his first solo mix tape in the summer of 2014 named ''JKT FAM: The Movement''. He is confident that this solo mix tape will be a great success. In his spare time he likes to play basketball and video games. He loves to party and spend time with his family and friends. Young Ase Garen Robinson aka JKT Young A.S.E Garen Robinson aka Young A.S.E aka Mr. poke-a-nose was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, older brother of JKT artist “JKT Jerm”. Young A.S.E graduated from Phoenix High School and went on to college to pursue an associate’s degree in business management with a minor in collision, trim upholstery & refinishing. Shortly after graduating from college Garen returned to his hometown of Kalamazoo to start his own business. Young A.S.E has always had passion for song writing and rapping. Openly displaying his talent as a lyricist writing songs such as Being broke is not an option, You ain’t tuff nigga” & Spend the night. Young A.S.E then collaborated with JKT ‘Ree’ & JKT ‘Jerm’ on the smash hit “She know what she doing”. That got Young A.S.E signed with JKT Entertainment. Young A.S.E is currently working on an upcoming mix tape which is currently untitled, Young A.S.E plans on dropping his mix tape in summer of 2014. Garen enjoys restoring automobiles and writing music.
