These songs were written over the course of a year. "Water" was recorded with the sound of a North Carolina river in the background. "What About Me" was written for my four year old son who always wants to be included. "Jaunty" describes a walk that you imagine someone walking when you listen to the song. "Caravan" describes a group of people going on a long journey and the ups and downs of this journey. "Melodious" was fun to write because I really liked the guitar sound on my synthesizer. "Back to the 80's" was an attempt to record as many synth. sounds as I could and still have the song sound good. "Daydreaming" is the ballad on the CD. "Alone" was another song that was fun to write the percussion parts to.
