FEBRUARY 1, 2008 On the heels of their recently released Consider This A Confession EP, Chicago's STATE AND MADISON have announced their brand new single, "If This Was The Moon," set for a digital-only release Tuesday, February 12. Recorded with Producer/Engineer J. Hall in the midst of their fall midwest tour, "Moon" showcases the quartet's continuous musical evolution and signature indie-rock hybrid as they forge ahead into 2008. As a special bonus to the new single, the band will also release the B-Side track "The Choice" that same day. The previously unreleased song is taken from 2006's Simplicity Is The Name Of The Game sessions. Meanwhile, the band's Consider This A Confession EP continues to pick up steam across the midwest and beyond, with recent highlights of the band included in the Chicago Sun-Times, Omaha World Herald, and Independence Examiner along with TV performance and profiles on Good Day Tulsa and Three Guys Pickin', among others. Additionally, the foursome's most recent tour outing found successful dates in Kansas City, St. Louis, Omaha, Tulsa, and beyond.
