Influenced by greats like Cash, Haggard and Jennings, Cox pays tribute ro his heroes with a sound that avoids the clichés so present in current pop country.” THE BAND The Band performs originals as well as country and southern rock classics. Eric Cox plays rhythm guitar, keys and performs lead vocals, Clay Crowe plays lead guitar, Sam Hickman plays bass, and Robert Farrah is on the drums. THE ALBUM The Corner News described the album as one that, “...keeps to the traditional sounds that made country famous. Tunes like “Coming Soon” have pedal steel lines and a heartfelt delivery. “Old Florida Town” is more ballad like, this time accentuated by mandolin strums and gentle piano chords.
