The band “Trout” has a long history. Three of the four members have been together for over 15 years. After touring the country’s cover scene in the early 90s, Bass / Vocalist Troy Martenson moved to the Twin Cities to find a group of musicians to write music with. After a year or so of bouncing around, Guitarist Rob Wedewer, and long time Drummer, Brian Hoepner all hooked up for the initial start of “Trout”. Jason Bradley recently joined the band as guitar / vocals and Trumpet. This combination is working well. The band has written over twenty-five songs and recently finished their latest cd “Here in the Dirt”. Their good friend Kelly Rath had a large part in writing the music for this CD. The music has a steady rock thump, with melodic overtones and great vocal harmonies.
