The Sagittarius EP was never something I had planned. As with most music, it was the result of a little heartache - heartbreak being too strong of a word to use in this case. I had been seeing this girl. It was supposed to be just all fun and games, but I suddenly found myself emotionally invested. For a moment, I thought she was too. Then I was ghosted...and that's what haunted me the most. When I realized what was going on, it really sucked. The following week was a mess of sleepless nights, bouts of insecurity, and lots of questions just taunting my mind. This become the fuel to the fire that is Sagittarius. I wrote a ton of new music cataloging my emotions and experiences with this girl - both good and bad. I hadn't let my guard down to anyone in a while, thus being so vulnerable is what made this impact me so much. However, the experience revealed something about myself that I had been denying. I had been yearning for companionship more than I wanted to admit, and now I embrace that fact...silver lining I guess. As much as I want to say this music is about connecting with others and helping others, that would be a lie. This one really is just for my heart. Now I share it with you.
