Sparzanza are back, and with a vengeance - stronger, harder, cooler, heavier. Furthermore they have prominent guests like Ralf Gyllenhammar from Mustasch and Peter Dolving from The Haunted. It took a little more time than calculated, but now Sparzanza are back. The new album "Banisher of the light" is more metal than the previous ones. The producer, Rikard L?fgren, had a bigger creative role and has given Sparzanza a heavier and harder sound, still, you'll recognize the bands' caracteristic, melody-driven riffs. - Rikard L?fgren and Sparzanza have been working together several times now and he knows us, says guitarist Calle Johannesson. He understands what we want and gives us that little extra that separates us from the rest... The theme for "Banisher of the light" is: Harder. The band have constantly pushed their boundaries to reach that heavier sound. With the new album, Sparzanza are approaching a couple of their own influences in a new way. On "Dead rising" they are joined by Peter Dolving, lead in The Haunted, and on "Godsend man" by Ralf Gyllenhammar from Mustasch. - These are two bands that we really like, says singer Fredrik Weileby. It feels great that both of them could and would participate!
