Swyft is an artist out of the Lincoln Village Area of Sacramento, California. Started rapping at age 12. The Lost Tapes are tracks recorded from 2004-2008. Swyft introduces the album with a neighborhood anthem and classic hit single "Village Ghetto Land" and caps it off with a dedication to his closest friend Marcus Houston Mayes with "3400 Mayes Block". Mayes Files "The Lost Tapes" is a very talented street album containing soulful songs to club bangers from beginning to end. Listening to the tape you will tap into the mind of a young man in his teenage years taking you on a journey on how life was growing up in the streets of East Sacramento, California.
