Every year, Blessing organizes a Christmas concert in their own church in Lommel. In any case, Blessing has a special relationship with Christmas. In 2006, the band took care of the music in the Christmas village that was especially built in Lommel (Belgium). And in 2007, Blessing co-operated in a project choir that sang with Ron Kenoly during a couple of christmas concerts in the Netherlands. So not surprisingly the first cd of the band was a Christmas cd, recorded and released in 2005, and entitled 'Blessed Christmas'. This cd contains both well-known and little-known English Christmas songs, to which Blessing has given its own sound and atmosphere. In 2009, the long-awaited successor of that cd was released: 'Here You Are'. This cd contains solely self-written English songs. With this cd, Blessing shows that it has not only the skills to cover songs of other bands in an excellent way, but that it is also very good at writing and performing its own compositions.
