Poetic Rhymes of My Life" is about me, a snippet of my past and who I am today. I never confided in anyone about who I am, and at a particular point in my life I confided in a friend. After that she kept telling me over and over again “you need to write a book”. I had a little time on my hand while in school and every time I would sit down at the computer to begin writing this book, I heard crickets, nothing. Other times parts of my life were so dark, dwelling on it was unbearable it was always hard taking myself back to those places. I began carrying post-it sticky notes everywhere I went and when something would come to me I would write it down. I ended up having so many sticky notes one day I began putting them together, and it was always in rhyme formation. The first one I wrote was “Another Chapter” about a marriage that went bad. I figured out a way to shed light on my past and add a little humor without going so deep. From here I was later introduced to the poetry scene where I took “Another Chapter” to the stage, curious to see what kind of response I would get, let’s just say this is where “Poetic Rhyme of My life” was created . Consisting of how I was brought into this world, and raised. My early life as a rapper alongside one of the best rap artist, K-Rino and my life as a military man turned exotic dancer, now “how the hell you make that happen “you might ask? All I can say is I did it, and on the hind sight of it all, I’m not ashamed of what I did because it made me who I am today, and I love that guy. I hope you enjoy
