This album tells the story of the 1984-85 Miner's Strike through the eyes of the men and women of Stainforth and Dunscroft, South Yorkshire- The Hatfield Brigade. It was written thanks to interviews, phone calls, loans of archive and documentary footage speeches from those who were there on the front line and whose jobs and communities were attacked by the Thatcher government whose control of the media narrative turned the country against the victims. It both a message from history and a stark warning as to what happens when a nation slavishly swallows all it is told.
