The 16 tracks on Living the Small American Dream by Kentucky born and raised singer/songwriter/musician, Eddie Lee Groves, represents a mixture of all the musical influences that Eddie heard growing up. A mixture that is Traditional Country, Bluegrass, and Bakersfield Twang. The project also represents the writing skills of Eddie, having penned or co penned every song on the project. Incidentally, all songs except one, Eddie performed all musical instruments! From the first track, Have a Little Fun, this album takes you on a musical journey from a fun side to a more mellow side. You will surely have your feet tapping to My Baby is Cool, Redneckville, and the Rockabilly influenced My Lonestar Baby! You’ll want to hold you sweetheart tight during My Kentucky Lady, a song Eddie wrote of his marriage. Then there is the lonesome ballad Without You In My Arms ( I’ve Got Time On My Hands), a song destined to be a Classic. The Comical side of Eddie's writing is included in this project with the song Baby Beat The Crap Out Of Me Last Night. A song were revenge can hurt bad!! Out of the 16 tracks on Living The Small American Dream, two are guitar instrumentals! The surf twanging Double Naught Spy will take you back to the secret agent movies of the 1960’s, while AirTwang 606 will introduce you to the mile high twang club!! On a side note, the 606 in the song’s title is the area code Eddie lives in!!
