"I love music, and I love God. My life can pretty much be summed up in that sentence. Growing up through the pop-punk scene into electronica has left me with an interesting blend of dance music and pop-rock running through my veins. I’ve been making music in my bedroom like a mad scientist for the last 8 years or so, and it’s finally time to share some of it with the world. If I can blend soothing melodies, energetic beats and meaningful lyrics into a song that speaks to someone and gives glory to God, I have accomplished my mission. Whatever happens from there is up to Him. " Why The Rescue Verse? "Because all of my life is hope in that verse; the promise that if I call upon the name of the Lord, I will be saved. Constantly, consistently, I am being made more aware of just how desperately helpless I am to save myself. I don’t just need my situation to be fixed. It’s more than that. I need to be rescued. Saving myself is not an option. There has to be a word for when you totally give up on your own ability, and just throw yourself at the mercies of God and say “Come what may; if He is not propitious with me, there is no hope for me.” I guess that’s faith.
