David Knowles is a distinctive vocalist and songwriter based in Edinburgh, Scotland with a growing international following. After writing his songs whilst travelling the world reading books and perfecting his guitar technique, David posted his first single The Alchemist to YouTube in September 2014. It attracted positive attention as it was shared through social media, owed partly to the video’s evocative clips of David’s time on the road, and enjoyed national radio air-play as XFM’s Jim Gellatly picked up on its “mesmerising” appeal.
