Street Capital started out in the fall of 2010, hosting hip hop events in the Twin Cities. After networking all over the metro area, they opened their St. Paul studio and began recording with numerous local artists and producers on a daily basis. Since then a collection of promotional mixtapes have been released by Street Capital Artists- "Redemption" and "Chemistry" (LZ), "Smokin' Purple Weed Outta Blueberry Swisher" (Mac Milli), "Public Intoxication" Vol. 1, 2, &3 (Prince Justice) "Playin No Games" and "Route 89" (Mac C), "Da Crunkmasta" (Loudpacc 2 C's), and "Brain Freeze" (Gage). Rocking shows to promote the music and the Street Capital Brand has been the main focus up to this point. Their rowdy stage presence and loyal following has earned them a growing local buzz. The highly anticipated release of "Capitalism" is an opportunity for hip hop fans to witness what all the hype is about. The album is produced by Mac Milli and Prince Justice with help from Street Capital associates Z Boy and Rez, providing a new innovative sound and a detailed portrayal of urban culture in the Twin Cities.
