Anticipated for the past 12 years, the Jeremy Thomas "one man band" project is finally here! Mindful Media Group proudly presents, Jeremy Thomas, I Am. This record flawlessly displays the diverse musical talent of Jeremy Thomas. From the skins to the keys, this is one project that you will leave on repeat. Founded in his gospel and jazz roots, Jeremy mixes in elements of Pop, Hip Hop, and R&B as he plays keys, bass guitar, drums, Hammond and auxiliaries. He also makes his producer debut on this project. The "Sound Check" sets up the story of the album, featuring Jeremy and his "alter egos" as they test and check "their" instruments. The 1st part of the album, the Instrumentation section, starts off the musical journey with a fusion of Gospel and Funk and then transitions to instrumental pop, displaying the same instruments but different styles. The 2nd part of the album is when Hip Hop and R&B meet the Hammond B3 Organ. This section of the album features singer and songwriter, Zack Gaddis, on vocals and Hip Hop artist, Motiv, spitting lyrics on The Marley. These tunes have Chorus and Bridge sections like contemporary Hip Hop, R&B, and Pop tunes, with the exception of solo sections that feature the sounds of the Hammond B3 Organ and the Electric Bass. The 3rd and final part of the album has a more mellow vibe, displaying more of an instrumental pop flavor along with a Neo-Soul element. This final section features vocals and lyrics by Zack Gaddis and Shanna Proctor-Dejear. Also Trumpeter Lee Rucker is featured on the tune 'Life's Worth Livin'. The album closes with a tune called Groove Steppin' which features Jeremy taking several choruses and soloing on every instrument. This tune is guarntted to leave the listener on an all time "High" groovin' in the seats, cars, or on the dance floor!! Jeremy Says..
