Ling-Gang was formed by Khaleim “Yung-Child” Waver, after founding Flat-Line Entertainment alongside his also talented sister NeKisha “Keesh” Waver. The sound that could be found coming from Line-Gang is a unique fusion of East, West & South flavors mixed in with street stories & soul music, a sound familiar in the Midwest. Although those elements from each region are taking in, the sound is completely different, signifying a style of music that could be found in the Midwest,,,, Nasty Nati’s style! The first and only group to release an album from the label was Line-Gang, a group of actual solo artists, who decided to come together and record a compilation using a group name, to allow hip-hop fans to get a feel of each artist individually & what was expected to come from the label. Though this group has had many members since the formation in 2004 (the reason behind the name “Line” Gang), it now only consists of Yung-Child (Khaleim Waver), Big-Vern (Vernon McLean) & D-Block (Robert Lile). Not only do the artists rap/perform, but they also write, create musical beds & have knowledge of recording, mixing and mastering the tracks.
