North Dakota based Ben Suchy performs "Stomp-Grass" and "Funky Folk" solo or with his band. His solo show is borderline one-man band. Full of stomping foot percussion, electro-harmonica and finger-style guitar. This music can sway anywhere from Blues-Folk like John Prine, or G Love to pounding rhythms like Ben Harper and Xavier Rudd. His band performs rootsy folk-rock music that embraces folk, disco rhythms, blues, and rock. Suchy is a multi-instrumentalist and an intelligent songwriter with deep lyrics and music to dig through.
