Chorkata is an audio drama album featuring two scripts penned & directed by popular writer Ranjana Bhanja. The two plays present two different scenarios in the Indian society where women are exploited and taken advantage of, in the name of love or in the name of work. Both the plays point out the sensitive and ignored portions of the society, where in one case, an escort is used as a corporate tool to crack orders, on the other hand a sex worker is not given the dignity and the basic right to love and to live on her own terms. Chorkata and Shefali Rani Bolchhi, have been performed by eminent actors of the radio and theatre industry - Jagannath Basu, Debshankar Haldar, Satinath Mukhopadhyay, Soumitro Basu and Ranjana Bhanja.
